Who we are
OTP Gaming (“we”, “us”) operates a website where you can play chess and other strategy games. Questions about this policy go to support@otpgaming.com.
Information you give us
- Account details you add yourself, such as a display name if you change the one from Google.
- Messages you send us for support.
- Game actions you take while playing, such as moves, clocks, results, and which strategy game you opened.
Google user data
If you choose Sign in with Google, OTP Gaming receives the following from your Google account:
- Your name
- Your email address
- Your profile picture
- A Google account identifier
We use that information only to create your OTP Gaming profile, authenticate you, keep you signed in, show your name and picture to opponents, associate saved games with you, and contact you about your account if we need to.
We do not request access to your Gmail, contacts, calendar, Drive, or other Google services. We do not post, send, or change anything on your Google account. We do not use Google user data for advertising, and we do not sell it.
OTP Gaming’s use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Information collected automatically
When you use the site, we collect technical data needed to run it: IP address, browser type, device type, pages you open, and the time of the visit. We use this to keep the service reliable, secure the account, and understand which games are played. We do not use it to build advertising profiles.
How we share information
We share information only in these cases:
- Other players. Your display name, profile picture, and game results are visible to people you play.
- Service providers. Hosting, security, and email providers process data for us under instructions to operate OTP Gaming.
- Legal reasons. We may disclose information if the law requires it, or to investigate abuse, cheating, or harm to players.
We do not sell personal information. We do not share Google user data with third parties for their own marketing.
How long we keep it
We keep your profile and game history while your account is open. If you ask us to delete the account, we delete or de-identify the profile, Google account identifier, email address, and profile picture, except where we must keep a record for security, fraud prevention, or legal obligations. Game records that other players still need may remain with names removed.
Your choices
- You can stop using Google sign-in by closing your OTP Gaming account.
- You can revoke OTP Gaming’s access from your Google Account permissions at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
- You can ask us what we store, ask for a correction, or ask for deletion at support@otpgaming.com.
Children
OTP Gaming is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly create accounts for them. If you believe a child gave us personal information, email us and we will delete it.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will post the new version on this page and update the effective date. If a change materially affects how we use Google user data, we will ask for consent where Google or the law requires it.
